A family-run business with over seventy years of history
Antonio Bonino – Founder
Bonino is a historical family-run business and global market leader in lavender harvesting machinery.
In 1946, Antonio Bonino founded the company, opening a workshop to repair and sell farm machinery. Before long, the small enterprise grew and became a manufacturing company, building new-generation machinery, ideal for the fast-expanding agriculture.
In the ‘70s, Antonio’s son, Matteo, further developed the company and continued to increase exports, first in Europe and later abroad.
Modern technology and artisanal expertise
Matteo Bonino with children Cristina and Dario
Antonio’s grandchildren, Dario and Cristina, who have been leading the company along with their father for many years now, have introduced important entrepreneurial, production, and technological innovations that have allowed the company to design and build machinery that is unique for its quality and performance on the world stage of machinery to harvest lavender, aromatic and medicinal herbs, and leafy vegetables.
Innovation and quality are the essential features of Bonino machinery, which are designed and built in a plant that unites the latest technology with the skill of artisanal work: this work philosophy is expressed in the production of super-customised machines with superior quality and performance.
